HILL DAY

With health care being a prime topic in Congress, Hill Day is an excellent means of introducing the representative to the HIM profession’s voice and to you, the representative’s constituent.  Hill Day in Washington, DC is held in the Spring of each year and includes social and networking opportunities with HIM peers from around the country.  Watch for details of the next Hill Day at AHIMA’s website.

At the state level, NYHIMA periodically schedules visits with State Senators and Assemblymen in Albany. The Board of Directors with the Legislative Committee Chair and members form the core of the visiting delegation.  Watch for a call for volunteers to join the delegation for the next Albany Hill Day event.
