Article Submission
Members and interested parties are encouraged to submit articles for Perspectives Online that focus on topics of interest to the New York HIM professional community. Currently Perspectives Online publishes on a bi-monthly basis (August, October, December, February, April, June). The deadline for each issue is the first of the month thirty (30) days prior (July, September, November, January, March, May). The NYHIMA Perspectives Editor Director and Editorial Board determine the choice of articles to be published. All submissions to Perspectives Online must (1) cite all information sources; (2) provide complete author identification; (3) be concise and to the point; (4) be written in Microsoft Word; and (5) be transmitted as an email attachment(s) to the Perspectives Editor Director, Elizabeth Wheeler, RHIA, CCS-P, at: e.wheeler@elsevier.com.

All standard submissions, such as Local Association news, President's Message, etc., can be sent directly to the NYHIMA Central Office at: charrington@nyhima.org.
