Previously Carol has worked as a medical coding auditor and educator for multiple organizations, including AHIMA, as well as taught for career colleges both online and on campus.

Carol began her education by completing the Independent Study Program in Health Information Technology through AHIMA. She has since earned her bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies through SUNY Empire College and obtained her RHIT, CCS, and CDIP credentials.
