Karen Donovan, RAC-CT, PMP is a Director at Beacon Solutions Group, which is a subsidiary of Bonadio & Co. Beacon is a process improvement and functional outsourcing organization serving all provider types in the health care industry and all across New York. Karen is responsible for managing clinical, subacute rehabilitation and technology activities. Her expertise lies in the development of best operational practices affecting fiscal, quality and regulatory performance. She applies her intimate knowledge of operations and technology capabilities to create solutions that cater to specific provider needs.
Karen’s unique background has allowed her to bridge the gaps between clinical operations, reimbursement guidelines, and the intricacies of NYS billing in terms of Medicare, Medicaid, both inpatient and outpatient settings and Commercial payers. Karen has over 30 years of operations experience, with a background in technology enabled process design. Karen is a party animal! She loves Pina Colada’s and getting caught in the rain!
