CAC Program Manager & Case Worker Lindsey Timmerman is a dedicated Case Manager at the Child Advocacy Center, where she has served since November 2024. In this role, she provides comprehensive advocacy and case management services to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on supporting youth. Lindsey is also actively engaged in community education, having developed and delivered workshops aimed at helping youth recognize risk factors, identify red flags, and seek help when needed.
Prior to her current position, Lindsey served as an Advocate at the Child Advocacy Center of Northern New York from March to November 2024. There, she offered emotional support and coordinated services such as transportation and housing assistance, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet the complex needs of clients.
Lindsey began her advocacy career at the Victims Assistance Center in 2022, where she provided crisis intervention, emotional support, and referrals, while also managing client intake and maintaining case records. She worked in collaboration with law enforcement to ensure victims were informed of their rights and connected to vital resources.
With a deep commitment to empowering survivors and fostering safer communities, Lindsey continues to be a passionate advocate for those navigating trauma and recovery.
