Renee’s presentation will assist healthcare facilities in complying with NYSDOH regulations, most specifically Public Health Law (PHL) § 2805-y, added by Chapter 408. This regulation implores health care facilities to be leaders in recognizing and responding to potential human-trafficking victims in the healthcare setting. Attendees will hear an overview of Oneida Health’s implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to the identification, assessment, and referral of victims of human trafficking.
