The focus will be on the most challenging issues of diagnosis coding, reimbursement issues, and how to stay current with your coding skills. There will be a mini mock exam at the conclusion of the day along with a review of the answers with your peers.

    • Review of the most important inpatient coding guidelines and review of the UHDDS
  • 11:00am: Short Break
  • 11:15am: Review of difficult coding topics:

    • Neoplasms
    • Obstetrics
    • Infectious Disease
    • Others
  •  12:15pm: Lunch Break
  •  12:30: Outpatient Coding Conventions and Guidelines for ICD-1-CM
  •  1:00pm: Coding Clinic, Clinical Concepts, and Reimbursement Issues
  •  1:30pm: Short Break
  •  1:45pm: Coding Examples and Discussion
  •  2: 30pm: Practice Exam
  •  3:15pm: Review of Exam Cases
  • 4:00pm: Conclusion

The cost of this program is $99 and includes lunch. Attendees will earn 5 CEUs.
